Copyright & Takedown
How to tell us about material on Chrono Ledger World that infringes your copyright, and how the person who posted it can respond.
Draft. A plain-language policy written to match how Chrono Ledger World works today. It will be reviewed and finalised before the site opens to the public.
What this covers
Almost everything on Chrono Ledger World is generated for the game or written by us. If you believe something here — most likely text a player typed into a free-text decision — copies your work without permission, send a notice and we will review it promptly and remove material that is clearly infringing.
What a takedown notice must include
Email dmca@chronoledger.world with:
- your name and contact details;
- identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed;
- the URL or a precise description of the material on our site you want removed;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for them;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@chronoledger.world with your contact details, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, your consent to jurisdiction in your district, and your signature. We may restore the material after a waiting period unless the original complainant files suit.
Accounts that keep infringing
We will suspend or close the account of anyone who repeatedly posts infringing material.
